About Us
We are neighbours, parents, students, workers, and seniors from across Saanich who want to help improve access to primary care in our community. We are not a formal organization or society. We are simply a grassroots group of local residents who care about making sure everyone can see a family doctor or nurse practitioner when they need one.
Our focus is simple:

Encourage people without a family doctor or nurse practitioner to sign up for the Health Connect Registry.

Connect with our neighbours and help raise awareness about the need for more primary care professionals in Saanich.

Support efforts to bring more doctors and nurse practitioners into our community.
We know that the province is working hard to attach more people to primary care providers, and we applaud these efforts. But the government can only help the people they know about. That is why registering is so important.
Our volunteer team includes people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds. We host tables at community events, canvass door-to-door, speak with neighbours, support fundraising efforts, and share information online. Anyone can join this effort, and every small action makes a difference.
