Let’s make sure everyone in Saanich has access to a family doctor or nurse practitioner!
Across Saanich, too many people are still looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner. The good news is that the province is working hard to connect more people with primary care, and we want to help make that happen faster in our community.
The most important thing you can do is simple.
If you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, please sign up for the Health Connect Registry. It takes only a few minutes, and it lets the province know that you want to be attached to a primary care provider in Saanich.
When everyone who needs a family doctor or nurse practitioner is registered, it strengthens the case for more doctors to be sent to our community!
We are a group of Saanich residents working to help get more people in our community connected with a family doctor or nurse practitioner. If you are interested in helping out, there is a number of things you can do:
Sign up for the Health Connect Registry - If you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner and are not already signed up, please sign up and tell your friends and neighbours to do the same.
We will add a button that links directly to the registry.
Get Involved - Join neighbours, friends and volunteers across Saanich who are helping spread the word and support efforts to bring more doctors to the region.
Donate - We do not collect donations ourselves, but we strongly support the fundraising efforts of the South Island Primary Care Society, which is working to expand primary care in our region. Please support their efforts if you can!
Sign Up for Updates - We will keep people up-to-date with campaign news, and let you know about opportunities to help by doing such things as writing or speaking to Saanich Council, local MLAs or other decision makers.
